|Peaaegu valmis Muhu kindad/Almost ready Muhu gloves|
Right now I'm having a vacation full of driving. During the trips it's useful to have my knittingbag along. As I'll start a new journey tomorrow morning to Muhu Island I have to figure out which yarns to put into the bag, these suppose to become Estonian-Aran gloves although there is no brilliant idea in my head at the moment yet. I'm considering combining Aran cables and Estonian mitten patterns.
After visiting my godmother on Muhu, I will have a nice break in my childhood town Haapsalu where I'll meet Nancy Bush, the wellknown knitter who is keen on Estonian knitting tradition as well. She helped me with my book, edited knitting instructions in English and now she would like to meet me and to buy a pair of my gloves for her collection. It's going to be a nice week!
